Meet the owner

Mike Harkowa

Owner · MJH Construction, LLC

Michael J. Harkowa is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has been a licensed contractor since 1989.

He established MJH Construction in 1993 in Brentwood, NY, then moved to Maryland in 1997 as a founding member of Needwood Construction, LLC — serving as Senior Member/Partner for 15 years, and as Vice President and later President of Needwood Homes, Inc. for nine years. In 2012 he re-established MJH Construction, LLC in Easton, Maryland.

As a trained architect, Mike has an excellent feel for what is achievable both stylistically and structurally — and is personally involved every step of the way.

Mike Harkowa becomes a licensed contractor.

1993

Established

MJH Construction is established in Brentwood, NY, offering remodeling and design services.

1997

Needwood

Moves to Maryland as a founding member of Needwood Construction, LLC — later Senior Member/Partner for 15 years.

2012

Maryland

Re-establishes MJH Construction, LLC in Easton, Maryland.
